Lactalis and No Child Hungry teamed up to donate over 16,000 meals to United Way of the Desert. These meals then made their way to the East Valley where they were distributed to thousands of residents.
On Wednesday morning, fifteen parents joined Mrs. Padilla for coffee and sweet bread. During this informal setting, future events, general concerns and positive accomplishments were shared. Math games of Subitizing for K-2 and Multiplication for 3-6 were taught to the parents by the principal. Parents enjoyed playing these games with each other while they learned how these math concepts can be shared with their children at home.
The Flying Doctors & CV Medical Volunteers host the Free Health Fair forFamilies without insurance. They provide free medical services such as; mammograms, Chiropractic services, physical therapy, dental and vision &hearing services.
